American potters are visiting Jingdezhen

Recently, Jingdezhen invited the famous American ceramist MR. Erickson to hold a ceramic art lecture entitled “The Expression of Soil”. The scene attracted a large number of young and middle-aged ceramic artists.

According to reports, this lecture was mainly written by MR. Erickson who had traveled all over the world for many years. He came across and learned about the experience of pottery. After a series of works created in close contact with the soil of Jingdezhen, the author elaborates on the form of the soil, the performance of the content, the performance of the thoughts, and the use of different materials, tools, and techniques in the process. Some of the insights, and took an opportunity to communicate with artists present here, and on the other hand naturally formed an exchange of Chinese and Western pottery culture.

According to the person in charge of the organizer of the event, this seminar is the first ceramic art exchange seminar in Jingdezhen. It aims to create a high-end and in-depth exchange platform and hopes to use this artistic exchange activity to revitalize the overall art atmosphere of Jingdezhen and truly to Jingdezhen.
