Reporter: Since last year, the autonomous region has promoted Xinjiang women's "great projects" and used it as a people's livelihood project. What effect does this project have on Xinjiang women?

Wang Jianling: Xinjiang Women's “Beautiful Project” is one of the 22 key projects for people’s livelihood in the “Year of People’s Livelihood Construction in Xinjiang 2011”. It aims to support women’s industries in cosmetics, clothing, accessories, and health products through policies and funding. Create a batch of well-known brands with market competitiveness. Promoting women’s entrepreneurship, employment, and enrichment in all ethnic groups in Xinjiang is the fundamental goal and core content of the implementation of the “Beautiful Project” for women in Xinjiang.

As of September 2, the "Beautiful Project" was implemented for 547 days. Through the implementation of women's small guarantee projects, vigorously supporting the hand-knitting embroidery industry, continuing entrepreneurship training, and sending posts to the spring to provide opportunities for women of all ethnic groups who want to start a business, start a business, and dare to start a business.

Reporter: Xinjiang women want to apply for a small amount of guarantees**, which preferential policies can be enjoyed?

Wang Jianling: From the end of March 2010, Xinjiang began to work on women’s small guarantees**. All urban and rural women who have the ability and desire to start their own businesses in the autonomous region can apply to the local Women’s Federation organization for a small amount of guarantee** to start a business. The maximum limit for a single individual is RMB 80,000, and the maximum per capita for a partner business is RMB 100,000. The time limit for the ** is two years. It can be extended for one year and all enjoy the full discount of the central government.

As of the end of July this year, the district has issued a total of 12.39 billion yuan in women's small guarantees. Nearly 400,000 urban and rural women have received support, and radiation has driven 400,000 women to start employment.

Reporter: In recent years, what are the changes in the employability of Xinjiang women?

Wang Jianling: In May this year, the Women’s Federation of the Autonomous Region and the Statistics Bureau of the Autonomous Region jointly released the survey results on the social status of women in Xinjiang. From 2001 to 2010, 3.364 million women in the region took part in vocational training; the number of women holding vocational qualification certificates and special vocational ability certificates in the district reached 1.302 million. According to surveys, in addition to planting, breeding and livestock husbandry techniques, 32.3% of women in rural areas have mastered handicraft technology, and 10.5% of women have mastered processing technology. It shows that many rural women have mastered more than one other practical technology.
